Privacy information

Clear, limited and relevant.

This notice explains how Weiss Events handles information connected with this website and individual business outreach.

Controller and contact

Weiss Events is responsible for the processing described here. Privacy questions, access requests and objections can be sent to outreach@weiss.events.

Information we may process

Outreach tracking does not store visitor IP addresses or perform IP-based geolocation. Open signals are approximate because mail providers may load images automatically. Link requests may also be generated by security scanners.

Why information is used

Information is used to send relevant, individually addressed business introductions, understand whether a message was delivered, avoid repeatedly contacting uninterested recipients, respond to enquiries and protect sending reputation.

Depending on the relationship and circumstances, processing is based on consent, an existing business relationship or a legitimate interest in relevant business-to-business communication. You may object to direct-marketing processing at any time.

Service providers

Google Firebase provides authentication, database, server-function and hosting infrastructure. Resend provides email delivery and related event notifications. These providers process information under their applicable data-protection terms and safeguards.

Retention

Detailed delivery, open, click and engagement events are retained for up to 180 days. Contact and message-summary information is retained only while relevant for outreach and record-keeping. A minimal suppression record may be retained longer so that an opt-out, complaint or permanent bounce continues to be respected.

Your choices and rights

Every outreach email provides an opt-out link. You may also ask to access, correct or erase your information, restrict processing, or object to direct marketing by emailing outreach@weiss.events. You may lodge a complaint with the competent data-protection authority; in Finland this is the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman.
